And what IS happening in my life....

Well. First of all, in June 2001 I finally graduated from University after 8 gruelling years. I only have one degree to my name but a wealth of knowledge and experience I could not have gotten elsewhere. I graduated at the top of my class with an award for one of the best research papers of my thesis year and high commendations from the selection committee for the best design projects of the year. Yes, I have come a long way since that first year in Architecture that many of you may remember.

Second, I got married. Most of you will know I was engaged for almost five years, dated for almost six, a wonderful and most sympathetic man from England named Dom. We finally tied the knot in Ottawa on a beautiful and damp day in October with the splash of fall colour and the love of our friends and family surrounding us. Below is the link to the official wedding website.

The Wedding (of a century?)

Next, after much deliberations over a year ago, we chose to settle in the United Kingdom instead of Canada like was originally intended. I feel it will be better for my career, and Dom has an exciting and good job here he enjoys. We live just outside London in our own house, although this may change soon as we need to find something closer to Dom's work and on a better line into the city for me.

I am currently seeking work although several medical setbacks push and pull me from getting on with the task of getting work as soon as I would like. I am looking to work in London as the potential for my creative development I feel has a bigger chance there.

My brother just got promoted to Corporal in the RCMP and he is moving to Northern BC for his first post. And my dad has taken to political gesturing and ranting much to my mothers embarrassment. I wish them all well, i know they all are having fun anyway.

Our cat, Snow will finished Quarantine in February much to the delight of both us and her. It was six months of hell for both of us and of course a real stretch and pain in the pocket book. I thinkour next task will be lobbying the governement here about quarantine as it is absolutely ridiculous, the rules, regulations and why's of it all.

I suppose that is all for now, hopefully in the future this will be the one page I update more so then the others, allowing me to not have so much labour intensive work everytime I need to update.

Bye for now.
