Architecture.

I love it and have done so since I was a wee girl. Although not my only passion in regards to profession, certainly it is the most prominent and the one I feel I have been destined to do in one form or another. I also have had inklings to being the Prime Minister of Canada, but that is more a passion for my country and its people, okay and politics too.

I went to Carleton University to get my degree in architecture. Perhaps not the most illustrious of places to get my education, but it gave me what I feel I needed to get where I am today. It gave me practical, theorectical and life lessons that may have been harder to grab elsewhere. I went from insecuirty and fear of the unknown to confident , philosophical and contemplative about the future. I may be a pebble in the beach of life but a rock I may become if I maintain and learn the tools.

My current specialty is housing, as I have done extensive research and investigations into such, but I dare not let that limit me as I think what I can give to architecture far surpasses the dwelling. And this is not an egoist starting her rant, as I think I am far from that, but unless you dream and expect something of yourself for the future then what do you have to strive for. It is not about how famous I can become but how far I can push myself to make the best of what I know to MY satisfaction.

Below are links to my portfolio and other subsequent sites involved in my educational process. Enjoy them. They can be tedious and dull at times, just a warning to those with shorter attention spans.
